Review on AUTOSAVER88 Power Window Regulator w/Motor for 2002-2006 Jeep Liberty Compact SUV: Rear Passenger Side by Michael Schwegman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I saved a lot of dollars with this

My left passenger window failed in 2012. Now the right rear was also defective. I went back and checked my 2012 repair receipt and found that the repair organization that fixed the one that replaced the first regulator charged me $776 total, including $372 for the regulatory portion. Since the AUTOSAVER88 part is less than 1/5 the cost and the labor(s) are free, I figured it was time to solve a new problem with a little help from YouTube itself. I wouldn't rate the replacement job as very easy, but I did it in a few hours (reminder - free labor) and if I ever had to do it again it would be easy a second time. The design of this regulator is different from the original OEM version, but it fits perfectly and surpasses the original because the old design can jam the door lock if it fails. Keep the 5 screws from the old regulator as you will need them to install the new one. Please note that this new version is for Jeep Liberty models built before February 25, 2006 (check the date on the driver's door panel) and will not fit later versions of this particular 2006 or 2007 Jeep model.
