This budget gaming headset met my expectations in terms of microphone and sound quality, but one thing that confuses it is setting up and testing the built-in noise canceling device, because that's what I'll tell you It has phenomenal mic quality, it's very sensitive and will pick up almost anything in the background, be it TV hiss or fan noise, heck even my PC fans can be heard in the background. I'm not sure how the noise cancellation works for this unit, maybe software or something in the sound system manager, but for now I've only been able to adjust the sensitivity (volume) but not something that forces it to ignore background or unnecessary noise . I'm still having trouble figuring out how to stop the mic picking up background noise. So if anyone can tell me how to do this I would be grateful. Otherwise, it could just be the device itself.
