I ironed the graphic fabric at too high a temperature. I thought the big black burn would stay there forever but it kept separating from other fabrics and ruining my sewing projects. I happened to see a video about an iron cleaner (didn't know it was one) and gave it a try. It worked great! I didn't fully follow the instructions based on other videos. I turned on the fire at full power and turned off the steam (didn't drain the water). And I rubbed the iron while it was standing to see the area I needed to focus on. It took several uses but about 5 minutes in total. Then I turned on the steam and ironed the rag a few times to get everything out of the holes. But I found cotton swabs to help with most of the holes. Overall it did its job and I have a practically new iron.
