Review on 🔳 Myard PNP114040 4x4 Post Base Cover Skirt Flange: Improve Deck Porch Railing Support with Screws (Qty 4, Black) by Will Porter

I thought I could put them on the racks from below as they came from below instead of above from the deck. The flare made it impossible to don them because they were framed under the deck boards. This is a shame as the bottoms of the deck posts are quite gnawed due to all the deck boards being replaced / nails needing to be removed from the undersides of the cleats to move the deck boards out and then back under. The uprights are gnawed/damaged within the first 4 inches or so from the bottom so I know they would cover up that damage. If they did a split version of this that would be perfect. at least for my situation. A nice detail: They contain stainless steel screws whose heads are painted to match the apron. It seems to be a high quality plastic that should last a long time. poor at all Definitely good or money. It would bother me not being able to use it, but essentially that would have meant taking the top cap apart, which would have been a nightmare.
