Well I had three different mufflers on my 2007 v6 3.5 Dodge Charger. First I had a Magnaflow muffler which was a clumsy tube in the muffler body and rumbled a bit. Didn't like the sound. Switched to the Flow Master muffler which is chambered for a decent growl and didn't sound right for my v6. I then broke that muffler through a huge sink, so I went to twin straight pipes. Dude, that sounded LOUD, but it sounded like an imported four-cylinder car at high rpm. Fast forward to this week after purchasing this affordable Borla 2-in-2-out muffler. The quality is amazing for this product. Excellent welds and excellent internals. It's not technically an ax tube design, but there is a decent opening between the two chambers to allow back pressure to equalize when you let go of the throttle. There is no popping and this sound is close to a tuned high-end Euro v6 with a deep growl. This is the quietest of any brand I've had, but the best sounding in my opinion. It improves the real sound and roots of your car. Don't try to buy a muffler to make your v6 sound like a v8. That will never happen. Buy this Borla muffler and get ready for a smooth growl that won't make you rumble or uncomfortable at any rpm.
