Review on TeraFlex 1415500 Alpine Front Flexarm by Domonic Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent - design, material, finish

These levers are good for roller adjustment, all stock, in a fairly aggressive stroke range. The adjustment thread is really strong, well cut, well finished and very smooth. The bushings are solid rubber, they dampen better than polyurethane (which I like) and don't smear. Follow the instructions (yes) but also note that the setting is <full rotation only>. You cannot turn half a turn because the threaded bolt is attached at an angle. Teraflex probably made them this way to save money because a straight thread would require a different mandrel bend. But that's fine, just make sure you rotate it to the right angular position. The thread is 12 per inch or 0.080 inch pitch. At this ratio, one complete revolution results in a change in tilt angle of about 0.5 degrees. Good to know. - I have contacted Teraflex Technical Support many times for various reasons - both before and after the purchase. Always available, qualified, patient and helpful. It doesn't get any better.
