The bell itself is fine, the leather strap is not.

I bought a bell to attach to my dog's collar (55lb Labrador Retriever mix) for use in the field. The bell itself is fine, the strap is too small to fit a 1" dog collar so I attached it to the collar with strings. Which didn't work as the leather strap attached to the bell was very weak and broke when riveted. This happened on both bells. The dog returned with his tie intact but no bell. The product will likely work for a house dog or city park dog, but not a country dog.
