Review on 🍝 Stainless Steel Pasta Sheet Maker Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixers with Dough Scraper Gift by Kenny Beyer

When this pasta cutter works, it rolls out pasta as thick as I expected. The problem is that the very first time I used it I was only about 1/3 of the way through rolling out the dough for a batch of about 40 pirogues when it failed and one of the rollers wouldn't hold the thickness setting. While both rollers continue to scroll (scroll when the mixer is on), the roller that extends and retracts when changing thickness settings is no longer stuck. Now one of the rollers is moving in and out relative to the other roller (alternating between thicker and thinner), i.e. the roller does not support the specified thickness. Needless to say, this renders my investment in this device useless; and I've waited too long to use it so I can't return it (lesson learned but don't wait to use a newly purchased item past the return date). I hope your experience with it is better than mine. From the outside this attachment appears to be very well made but what failed is on the inside so based on this experience I have to believe that the internal parts used are of a much poorer design than the parts you can see on the outside.
