Hi, just wanted to let people know about my recent experience with my '09 Highlander. My dealer told me that at 67,000 miles my front brakes/rotors were almost in need of replacement and would cost about $700 including labor. I didn't feel any shaking, but I had to press a little harder to slow down appropriately. I searched the internet for alternatives and came across this package. Shipping cost: $310 including front and back. I looked at a very helpful thread on installing brakes and decided I didn't have the guts to try this myself in the dead so I just went to a local mechanic with good ratings who looked at my brakes and told me , I might as well replace them both while I was there. Total labor cost for two sets of brakes? 180 dollars. So I ended up replacing both brakes with quality rotors/pads for $490, probably at least $800 more than I would have paid at the dealer. Brakes work much better now. I'll post if I have any negative experiences with it, but so far it's working great!
