Update: This grinder was so good I tried to order a second one. However, they still ship it in a padded envelope, so it keeps arriving in millions of pieces. I've ordered, returned and re-ordered but they still seem broken. I called Revain and they said they would fix it. Nevertheless, I don't have a second mill because it keeps being sent in the wrong packaging. I like that it has two activation settings. One allows you to leave it on all the time, so when you turn it over, the pepper is ground instantly. However, it has a second "on" setting that lets you flip it upside down, press/hold to turn it on, release to turn it off. So if you only use Pepper occasionally, you can turn it off completely between uses to even save a battery. To fill, simply unscrew the giant glass tank (just like unscrewing the lid from a jar) and fill to the brim. No more feeding/scattering peppercorns through a small hole. No more irritation. It holds a ton of pepper.3. No light! No blue LED to make food look unhealthy. There is no bright white LED light that casts the shadow of a supernova and makes it impossible to see where the pepper fell. If you eat in the dark and need a light on your pepper mill, buy another one. If you can see well at your table/stove, this grinder is for you.4. The pepper container is made of glass and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. No cheap plastic that will tarnish/crack over time. The outer cover of the engine compartment is made of stainless steel and is therefore easy to clean. It was really nice.5. The charge indicator is easy to see. Connect it to your computer's USB port or to the wall with a USB adapter. The red light comes on. When charging is complete, the green light will turn on. Zero guesswork. The first time I charged it for about 2 hours.
