A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

This is my second Apple Watch. The first time I used Series 0 for four years, so I have the opportunity to compare them. I like that almost everything that I didn't like about the first generation of watches is eliminated here.

To the question of the functional usefulness of smart watches for 35k.

Depending on your lifestyle and "social Internet activity", this device can be completely useless or even annoying for you, or almost necessary. I belong to the second category.

I haven't used a Galaxy Gear watch, for example, but I'm pretty sure it's a functional smartwatch top at the moment. They are expensive, not everyone needs their functions, so decide for yourself whether it is worth spending your hard-earned money on them. I have been using them for the fifth year and do 50% of the functions for which I used only the phone before. The wow effect has long passed and their benefits are obvious to me personally. Yours may be different.

Pros

- Great sports assistant. Accurately measures steps, heart rate, flights of stairs, and other activity parameters. Suitable for swimming and much more. - Convenient to receive notifications and receive calls. It is quite convenient to answer notifications and make calls. Seriously, I've almost stopped making phone calls when I'm home alone. I can hear the interlocutor perfectly and he hears me perfectly. - Siri, although the dumbest assistant of all, she performs all the basic functions. And this is exactly the device where Siri is most convenient to use. Calling, setting a timer, finding out the weather is much easier by asking Siri. - Good appearance, nice materials. There are no complaints at all. - Screen. Large and very bright. - In general, convenient and brought to mind watchOS. Work speed 8/10. Not space, but does not cause inconvenience. - Rubric "for those who doubted". You can pay with them even if you forgot your phone at home. I don't take my phone for a run (it gets in the way), but if I need to buy something on the way back, there is no problem with that. - Lots of nice details that you don't know about until you buy a watch and start using it. For example, how the vibration motor is used in the watch interface when scrolling through lists: the larger the elements in the list, the stronger the vibration feedback. It may sound like nonsense, but in fact, it is this attention to detail that makes using the device enjoyable.

Cons

- I can’t directly attribute it to the lack of watches, but in some categories there are almost no applications. For example, there are no cards other than the standard ones from Apple that can be used abroad. And 2022 maps from and 2gis show the location, but do not show the direction of movement. - It's hard to sleep in them. - The glass scratches, yes, because it's not a sapphire. But I would not say that it is scratched from the air. I put only small scratches on the old AW Series 0 for 4 years of use, which are visible only in the sun. Just like on the phone.
