We had an open house and someone decided they needed to play with our TV. When we got home, the remote control was lying on the floor with a battery and the select button stopped working. After that it's almost useless for me. I was looking at Revain and found this remote control. I took the remote out of the box, put in batteries (2 AA) and used the volume control and as soon as my receiver recognized this it asked me if I wanted to program the remote. The DVR system will give you step-by-step instructions. I looked up the codes for our TV and was surprised - it was the first code. From now on it works great. I also liked the stickers that came with the remote that list the different rooms/areas because sometimes we have a bad habit of switching remotes and this will help us know we have the right remote in the right room . I have used leftover stickers on others. It was very easy to program, got it in two days with Revain Prime and it's a good deal. Can not complain.
