Review on High-Speed Intel Certified CalDigit Thunderbolt Cable - Optimum Data Transfer and Exceptional Performance by Robert Lemons

I bought this cable to use between my LG 5k and my 2016 15" Macbook Pro - it works great. In the system report I can see that it charges the system at 85W, same as the OEM cable that came with the display (compared to other cables I've tried, we limit it to 65W).Also supports devices connected to a USB hub, just like OEM Compared to the LG OEM cable, this one has a slightly thicker and stiffer cable, the connectors are a few mm longer than the OEM, and the CalDigit cable-to-connector transition seems stiffer to be (see photo comparing OEM vs Caldigit) ., at the end when I plugged in my laptop last week there was a crack - will be returned/replaced - just a cosmetic issue.
