Nice drain fitting and siphon set. Specifically, I needed the 12 inch extension cord that comes with the box. I think some of the negative feedback is due to the plastic threaded nuts being overtightened, or perhaps the ball joint mating surfaces on the P-trap being wrench tightened or misaligned. There are finger clips on the nuts for a reason - only hand tighten them. My renovation included the inevitable metal drain section that connected to the bottom of the sink. Luckily I was able to clean the hardened remnants of the encrusted rubber gasket on the sink faucet connector. However, the nominal 1 1/4" diameter at the fitting end of the metal hose was slightly larger than the plastic washers included in the kit. So I also purchased a separate set of washers (Plumb Pak PP25535-20, Beveled Spline Washer, 1-1/4 "PE, 1-1/4"), which were softer and fit more outside diameters.
