Review on 💡 Genuine Subaru 11810AA040 Control Valve CP - 1 Pack by Rey High

This valve fits and works perfectly in my 2003 Impreza Outback Sport. There is some confusion about PVC parts for 2002-2006 non-turbo Subaru as two valves are listed as correct but only one can be used. Part 11810AA040 is a valve that bolts into the engine block with a hose connection (Subaru part 99071AB73B) and then goes to the other end on the intake manifold. To find out if your Subaru 118AA040 is PVC, remove the top hose connection and see if you can insert a toothpick (or similar small object over two inches long) more than halfway without stopping suddenly . The intake top for this valve is just a larger diameter hollow tube to connect the valve on the block to the hose in the intake manifold. When replacing the PVC valve also replace the hose, Subaru part 99071AB73B as this hose will become brittle when removed and may break or tear.
