Acrylic "protective case " not very strong

The acrylic protective case has broken twice already and I'm not sure if it should protect. It does not protect the circuitry on the back from ESD damage (which I've already failed on one of these screens) nor does it protect the front from tampering as the face of the LCD screen protrudes from under the bezel. The screen itself is fine, but I'm having trouble using it with my Raspberry Pi 4 with a GUI because the resolution is so low that the popups get stuck and I can't drag them far enough to click the button. Cancel” or "OK” to access ". I haven't used the touch portion of the device yet, as I'm using it via HDMI, which in itself is a problem. The HDMI connector is on the top edge, and a cable with any stiffness and weight rips the screen from its legs, which can easily break off accidentally (see photo) If you don't have tiny fingers and high dexterity, do yourself a favor and grab a small pair of pliers to help when assembling Just don't overtighten the screws or the acrylic will crack.
