PC stats screen customization! IS WORKING!

Great product. I use it as a stats screen as do many other reviews. One thing I did differently was find a way to automatically disable it. I saw this being a problem for others so thought I'd share it. I ended up plugging the USB power cord directly into my Corsair Commander Pro. Knowing that the Commander Pro hub from sat. I assumed it should turn off when it's off. Naturally. It does! Connected immediately with no problems. Also just advice. You can only make the Windows taskbar visible on…

Rugged touchscreen and stand.

I bought this screen and will use it to set up the controls of my OctoPi 3D printer. It blends well and appears to be of good quality. A driver needs to be downloaded and installed for the touchscreen to work, but the included manual has very clear instructions. This was one of the easiest driver setups and setups I've come across with these touchscreens. My only (very minor) criticism of the stand is that I wish the cutout for the screen was sized so there wasn't that much extra space around…

  • This is amazing

really cool screen: computers and accessories

Great little screen. I don't use a touch screen and it wasn't very easy to assemble as the screws and bolts are very small and difficult to work with. But it's not that important, so don't get hung up on it. It is powered via micro USB. Since I didn't take the time to figure out how to turn off the USB ports when my computer is asleep, the display stays on and shows a message that no source was received. There is a small switch on the back of the screen that allows you to turn off or turn off…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

For the money, this thing is hard to beat. The display is worth it, the quality of the body and stand is better than any of my 3D printers. And you can actually run almost any touchscreen distro with a few small tweaks here and there. I'm going to start buying all of these displays, as well as every SBC I don't currently own, and giving really honest reviews. Too many little nerds get in here and throw away good products because for some reason they're so good at design that they can make them…

Great but a little tricky to assemble

The title says it's for Rasberry Pi but doesn't really work for anything else. I can't criticize it too much because it's clearly stated in the product name, but building this was a chore for me. I had to figure out how to assemble things without a Rasberry Pi and there were a lot of parts I ended up throwing in the trash. For context, I used this screen with Aida64 to show the internal temperature of my newly built PC. As long as you connect USB and HDMI to your computer you should be fine…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Acrylic "protective case " not very strong

The acrylic protective case has broken twice already and I'm not sure if it should protect. It does not protect the circuitry on the back from ESD damage (which I've already failed on one of these screens) nor does it protect the front from tampering as the face of the LCD screen protrudes from under the bezel. The screen itself is fine, but I'm having trouble using it with my Raspberry Pi 4 with a GUI because the resolution is so low that the popups get stuck and I can't drag them far enough…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Volume

Great little screen for Raspberry Pi

I ordered this to build a mobile pentest device using ARM Kali on Pi 3b+. For this build, the screen was ready to use. You can get a video just by putting the screen and body together, but it needs some tweaking to make it look pretty. Pros: The display is pretty good, I'm very happy with the quality and resolution. Screen case and pi 3b+ Being able to use the screen on other devices is nice. Adjusting the settings is easy if you have Linux/pi experience. Cons: The assembly instructions are…

Nice compact HDMI display solution for your Raspberry Pi projects.

This display met my expectations. No dead or stuck pixels, minimal dark edge lighting, excellent color depth and contrast, and the display mount fits my Raspberry Pi 3B+ perfectly. I was looking for the smallest usable screen size for a project and this 5 inch model hit the spot. I watched many YouTube 480p video streams as a quick proof test before completing my project and it ran smoothly and error free with standard Raspian 800x480 video drivers. However, I did not test the touchscreen…

  • Easy setup

  • There are other interesting options.
