Great little screen. I don't use a touch screen and it wasn't very easy to assemble as the screws and bolts are very small and difficult to work with. But it's not that important, so don't get hung up on it. It is powered via micro USB. Since I didn't take the time to figure out how to turn off the USB ports when my computer is asleep, the display stays on and shows a message that no source was received. There is a small switch on the back of the screen that allows you to turn off or turn off the display. I went with one of those magnetic micro USB connectors and just unplugged it when not in use and that was enough for me.
