This display met my expectations. No dead or stuck pixels, minimal dark edge lighting, excellent color depth and contrast, and the display mount fits my Raspberry Pi 3B+ perfectly. I was looking for the smallest usable screen size for a project and this 5 inch model hit the spot. I watched many YouTube 480p video streams as a quick proof test before completing my project and it ran smoothly and error free with standard Raspian 800x480 video drivers. However, I did not test the touchscreen capabilities as I use a bluetooth mouse and/or micro bluetooth keyboard instead. The viewing angles are very good from the front, side and top, but the contrast falls off sharply when viewed from below. The current draw is listed at 340mA from the links they provided in the attached paper documentation. Here are the 75hz settings I applied to this display in Raspian /boot/config.txt#display_rotate=0disable_overscan=1hdmi_drive=1hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt 800 480 75 6 0 0 0 # I should add that it despite other reviews it is a quality plastic product (no cardboard) and there is absolutely no risk of electrocution from the 5 volts it runs on. If your Raspberry Pi power supply is defective or another connected device has no problem. Not at all a reflection of the quality or design of this product.
