Review on 🔥 PTC Tower Space Heater: Freestanding, Portable with Realistic Flames, 12hr Timer, Remote Control – 1500W, Black by Bruce Marable

The flame effect is very nice, but the thermostat is far away and the oscillation is intermittent

This cute little PTC heater with realistic flame effect has a lot of potential, but it has a few problems. screen gone. This is between 10 and 14 degrees above the actual temperature. This renders the automatic cut-off temperature setting useless, and when it turns off it doesn't even come close to what I set it to. It heats well and has a fan speed. If you just turn it on low or high heat, it keeps running and never turns off. The only way it supposedly turns off is if you set the temp, but I set it to 68° and it will go up to 85° and still won't turn off. However, it's not really 85° in space when it says 85° on the screen. It is closer to 73° to 75°. Fluctuations are another problem. It's jerky jerky. It turns left, then stops, then backs up a bit, then back left, and then can turn all the way right again. It just doesn't move smoothly from right to left like most heaters or fans. The description doesn't mention that it has a rollover function. If it tips over, it shuts off. This is activated by a button on the base that pops out when it tips over, meaning if you put it on a plush rug it won't turn on because the button presses into the rug. Therefore, this device must be placed on a solid surface in order to function. A really nice feature is the flame effect, which looks very realistic. The included remote control also works very well to control all functions. Conclusion: This could really be a great product if they could fix the bugs. I have similar heaters that shut off almost exactly where I installed them and the oscillation works very well. I only gave it three stars because of the realistic flame effect and it heats up a small room. It may be in a room where it's only 69 degrees but after some time of operation it will read 85 degrees when it's still only around 70 degrees and the overheat protection will activate and shut off.
