I thought about purchasing a device from Mikrotik for a long time, but I realized that their marketing is not focused on the home user - I simply could not find a model for my needs. I was satisfied with the reliability of the old Netgear router, but it outlived its 10 years and began to require frequent reboots. And the current choice of models of this company turned out to be rather scanty. Tp-link was initially biased from past experience, but this model was ideally suited in terms of parameters. Just bought a loyal price and a sufficient number of satisfied customers. As a result, I have been using it for about six months and have never regretted it. The latest ate introduced the function of auto-disconnecting wifi by time of day and day of the week, which is very convenient. You can adjust the signal strength in each band separately, turn off the indicator lights on the case according to a schedule, etc. The home page provides a summary of the network status in an ergonomic way. Each tab of the interface contains detailed and understandable help for all elements. Nuances. Somehow the WPS button stopped working for me, but it turned out that it was disabled in the system tools submenu. It happened as a result of an ate or my own actions, I did not understand. The case is glossy, easily scratched - it is worth wiping the dust carefully. The ventilation holes are located in the recesses at the top of the case, so I advise you to remove the transport film or at least cut off the gaps above the recesses if you want to keep the presentation longer.
