They fit the Subaru Outback really well, don't need to be trimmed and don't slip when I get in and out. The pattern is deep enough to hold the sand and rocks that collect on boots and shoes where I live, so I have no idea about water from melting snow. I can take them out and throw stones instead of sucking up what fell into holes. Should have probably bought them a few years ago. Next time I'll buy something else. They don't last very long, and where they split, there are bits of rubber sticking up. Now there are cracks and holes.
