Review on 🔧 Enhanced Labwork Transom Seal Bellow Repair Kit with Lower Shift Cable Replacement for Mercruiser Alpha One SEI 30-803097T1: Boost Performance and Reliability by Jason Stokes

Did a great job replacing all the bellows on my Mercruiser Alpha One. I was about to install the shifter cable, only to find that the end piece that connects to the inner shifter cable in the belfry would not stay in place. I'm glad I discovered this before I got on my boat and lost the ability to shift forward/reverse. I watched several videos on installing the part and the one I received was obviously defective. The hex bolt that is supposed to push the part against the cable simply pushes out the inner cable. Most videos show this element holding the cable securely after it is threaded through. I don't know if I was unlucky or if it's a manufacturing error. Wouldn't buy it again though as a good gear cable is important.
