This is a cheap product. The shifter cable at the bottom was too short for the Alpha 1 downforce and 888 302 motor. It could only be adjusted to 5 3/4" and needed 6" to fit the boat. Also, the gimbal bearing that came with the kit was a cheaper bearing. I would recommend buying a fully enclosed stock.

Did a great job replacing all the bellows on my Mercruiser Alpha One. I was about to install the shifter cable, only to find that the end piece that connects to the inner shifter cable in the belfry would not stay in place.
