I can't test the night vision or image quality yet because I can't pinpoint it, but I seem to be seeing an odd obscuration or dark spot at the bottom of my field of view. I checked the external lens - I just don't see the reason. The last binoculars I used were old fashioned heavy, good quality and I never had this problem. I tried adjusting the eyepiece but found that it is and you paid for it. I am very disappointed that they will NOT work with my iPhone 11 ProMax as the mount is for a single lens camera only. The reason I bought it was to connect it to my phone and take photos or video clips from the stands of my sons' sports competitions. I was able to return them, but since the sport was almost lost in my state and only recently returned, I didn't have enough time to see how they would work to see the real game. But then again - you get what you pay for. I don't know if the problem with the shadows is a defect or just normal with them, but I honestly wouldn't recommend them.
