When I ordered these I was expecting a $54 pair of binoculars. A good value pair for occasional use on my houseboat, nothing more and nothing less. I can't test the night vision or image quality yet because I can't pinpoint it, but I seem to be seeing an odd obscuration or dark spot at the bottom of my field of view. UPDATED: Although some of the issues I had with this set still persist, the seller contacted me for a refund and sent me their new and improved version, the a little better equipped is 10x40 instead of 12x40, which I actually like a little better because they are easier to stabilize manually.
