The name says it all, these are bearings #1. Yes, they are 100% unprotected on one side and much more susceptible to contamination than almost any other bearing, but there is a simple solution. SIMPLY TWIST THE OPEN SIDES OF THE BEARINGS INTO THE WHEEL. I mean, is it really that hard to understand? I had my sons and I was like this for MONTHS and never had to clean them and those kids are still screaming like rockets. No camp can match the speed these things can handle. If you can't handle that or prefer to pose and watch other guys vomit then don't buy these, if you want to fly in everything you do on your stick these bearings are for you.
