Excellent machine for the price. While you do get what you pay for for this type of gear, the value for the money is better than I expected. It came through Fedex this morning and I used it this afternoon to find some jigs for CNC mass production (automotive, typical parts we make have several features with an overall positioning tolerance of 50-100 microns, some of which are harder) . I have a more accurate coax that I am using but the cost of replacing is too high for some of the conditions I will be using this one in. Considering the cost I was very impressed with the variety of touchpoints included in this set and the storage box is good too. Accuracy is acceptable unless you need the extra half thousand repeatability you could get by spending 5-10x more (or more). Pen with spindle, this would be a good entry level coaxial indicator to see what you are missing. On one of today's setups, it literally took me longer to turn on the Fanuc Robodrill, zero it, and install the drill chuck in the spindle than it took me to find and set the XY offsets with the coax indicator. I was ready to switch to Z and start stepping through the program 3 minutes after I unplugged the coax. Once you use one of them (be it this one or the other), you'll berate yourself for not getting it sooner.
