The size fits exactly, but there are nuances. So actually I'm a 9.5 but I took them at 10 because I thought they would be great to wear on the golf course. My feet swell a bit during the day - so the extra felt like a bonus. However, they are very spacious inside, but you can see from the photos that the ankle opening is a bit small. Being smaller around the ankle, it seems uncomfortable to rub and is very comfortable. Otherwise the shoes are very comfortable. The bottom/sole of the shoe is springy and super absorbent. You can wear them with or without socks depending on your choice. they are easy to wash. inside they are very spacious and easily cope with the swelling of the legs. just a little taken aback by the opening.
