This is not the first router from Asus, this one was taken to replace the RT-AC88U, since AX (wi-fi6) was needed. Three band router - all 3 bands can be merged into 1 (Smart Connect). Compared to the past, the signal range is many times better; in a 3-room apartment, the signal is excellent from anywhere. In the parking lot in the car (I live on the 1st floor), the radio and tablet catches Wi-fi without any problems, although the AC88U did not even have a hint of a network signal. I donβt think itβs necessary to talk about a bunch of functions, Asus has always been in abundance. But who needs parental control, I advise you to pay attention to the routers of this particular manufacturer. From the budget and mid-price segment, here is the simplest, and at the same time in-depth setting. I saw better only in Cisco and Ruckus, but there is a completely different price category. And lastly, in terms of temperature: I got revision A1. Of all my Asus routers, this one is the coldest. Under load of 3 PCs and 1NAS (cable), 9 devices via WI-FI (if you count the tablet and car radio), the temperature was around 58 degrees. In general, I advise you to take!
