I like that this thing mounts on the vent. An additional advantage is the cooling of my phone. I don't have to worry about my phone overheating. I'm taking off a star because I've noticed that I have to tighten it every now and then because at some point it loses its grip on the vent. The cure is to minimize movement. I used a 3M cable holder to keep the charging cable in place. By locking the charging cable position I can secure the phone without moving the arm hinge. I just stretched the spring without rotating the ball joints. This seems to eliminate the need to constantly tighten the grip knob. PTFE is a dry lubricant. This reduces the friction of the steps and allows the collar to be tightened more. I no longer have to squeeze mussels.
