I won't go into the details of this cymbal holder; I come to the points of sale. I was torn between many different options and they all looked pretty much the same. I almost bought the $10 version. What convinced me to spend $20 instead? I saw that "Darius" (CEO) responded to almost any feedback and offered help wherever it seemed necessary. The guy clearly wants to make his customers happy and takes pride in his business. i respect it The other reason I paid the extra money is for the extra parts that come with this kit (most of which I haven't personally used, but were there when I needed/wanted them and many more) . It comes with gaskets, screws, anchors and instructions. I have already used the original bolts on my car because they still look shiny and new. I didn't use the chrome caps, although they look cool if you decide to use them. Spacers are a very good idea and although my car already had them I could use the extra ones I was given. There are two small "hooks" on the underside of the license plate holder that hold the label in place. They are smooth and not harmful to the touch, nor do they protrude enough to cause problems. They do what they have to do; Hold the plate in the holder. PROBLEM: Apparently all cymbal holders have a somewhat "sharp" trailing edge. They're just made that way. I've read about sharp trailing edges on every product I've looked at. And I'm sure the cheaper ones are a lot sharper. This one is very slick up front and on the sides, but the rear is a little 'sharp', which is enough for us car lovers to worry a little. But my fears were allayed after a week of trouble-free use. This kit includes pads (mostly foam tape) and detailed instructions for use. Do you have a question about installing in your car? Email Darius and he will respond sooner than you expect. In my case my Maxima had a couple of pads down behind the platen so the bottom and side edges of the back of the plate frame didn't touch my paintwork at all. But the top of the frame rests a bit on the paint. I could have used the spacers that came with the frame (and I still can), but instead I carefully secured it tight enough that it wouldn't move, trusting the words of wisdom that came with the frame been delivered and told me how long it has been fitted correctly, it is unlikely to leave any damaging scratches on the paintwork. I also sought advice and advice from Darius and he quickly provided a helpful answer. These frames appear to be of good quality and I believe that they are better quality and significantly less "staggering" than the cheaper ones. But even if many of these plate frames come from similar factories, THIS company will provide you with enough screws, gaskets, screw caps, etc. to get the job done right in your situation, and more importantly, service customers to answer your questions is an email away. And I'm pretty sure I also read that if I wasn't completely satisfied I could easily return it for a full refund. For these reasons, the product and the seller get 5 stars from me. Oh, and the frame looks sick on my Maxim. That shiny smooth chrome frame surrounding my plate that matches the rest of the chrome on the back of the whip, all on my tinted 2013 Maxima Premium SV metallic slate color looks really nice.
