My dog was scared at first. In fact, I thought the purchase was a bad one because he sniffed at it and then left. This happened many times during the week. Eventually, however, he tried one and fell in love with her. So much so that at the bottom of the place he asked where I kept them so he could get another one. He usually doesn't. If you buy these and your dog doesn't accept them right away, don't give up. Ask your dog to at least try.
