I received the Confoly USB-C Superdrive last night. This Superdrive is a hub to hub connection on my new MPB Thunderbolt 3 port. When I first plugged it in, I didn't see anything on my desktop or anywhere else on my Mac. When I inserted a CD, iTunes popped up with all the information about the CD. When I put the DVD in the drive, My DVD Player (the software that came with my Mac) opened and started playing the movie. When the disc is inserted, you will see the disc on the desktop. Right click on it to eject the disc. The Superdrive is a one piece piece with no eject button and the drive will not open. The drive behaves just like the super drive that Macs used to install with. This is an extremely easy to use device that feels very durable. Confoly comes with a USB adapter in case your computer doesn't have a Thunderbolt USB-C port. I would recommend this product to a friend.
