I bought this tool box to mount under the door of a camper trailer. When the post office delivered it I took a quick look at the box and it didn't look damaged. When I opened the box, I found a noticeable dent on the bottom left that was almost identical to one of the other reviewers. There were also a few blemishes around the edges where the powder coating was badly worn. The tool box is serviceable and closes on the sides so I won't be returning it. The door latch was not properly adjusted at the factory and the mechanism did not really work (parts did not engage properly). The keys were located deep in the back of the locking mechanism and tied with a zip tie. It took about half an hour of "tinkering" to get the latch to work smoothly. The box is strong, but the management of this company should pay attention to users' comments. Simple foam corners and clasps in the shipping carton will likely prevent most claims. You must also ensure that the locks are working properly before shipping. "Made in America" should represent a certain pride in engineering, logistics, materials and craftsmanship. With this company, it's just the location. This could have been a great toolbox with all 5 star ratings if a few manufacturing adjustments were made.
