Easy encryption program with an intuitive interface
The ease of use, and the fact that it is free. I have used other programs in the past, but it's always been a hassle. I've used other programs to encrypt drives and it's always been complicated and time-consuming. VeraCrypt is easy and quick, and it does the job. I have a laptop that is going to be used in the field, and I need something that is easy to use, and that's why I chose VeraCrypt. I've used it on my personal laptop, and I've used it to encrypt a storage drive. The only thing I dislike about it is that it's not available for Linux. I'm sure that it is out there, but I haven't found it yet. I'm using VeraCrypt to encrypt my laptop, so that I can keep my personal files safe. I'm also using.
Pros
- It gives you access even when your system has failed or broken down completely as long as you remember which password was created during encryption process! That feature alone made me want this program immediately after hearing its description online; no questions asked at all :) This software offers best security with least effort spent by user very nice solution if one asks himself how much work would he spend getting his data protected? For example i simply downloaded an application
