It was packaged poorly and the bracket was simply taped to the hardware pouch. Like they just found it. The mounting post was not powder coated and protruded too far forward. I measured 1.25 inches from the front of my bumper. I don't think it was made for my GTI mk7 as advertised. The photos in the description show that the plate is much closer to the bumper. When I was working on the engine, I scratched my foot on the edge of the oven several times. Mounting in a corner will cause the panel to rotate. The connection of the Philips head to the mounting post is poorly designed as it cannot be tightened. It would be better with Allen's head. Was always wrong after driving. I tried to return but didn't accept because I left the return window. I ordered it before my car arrived. It would be nice if they tried to make me happy instead of flatly denying my return.
