I ride my bike at night but where I live it's very dark so it's always a bit risky. I tried a few headlights but they weren't bright enough to make me feel safe. On the contrary, it is VERY bright! It has a large battery, which may annoy some people, but it easily fits in my handlebar bag. The flashlight and battery are connected with a plug, so the battery can be easily taken indoors for charging without having to remove the flashlight. The best part is that it's so bright. I feel very safe driving at night with my lights on.
