Review on 👾 Adafruit PiTFT Mini LCD Kit: Versatile Touchscreen Solution for Raspberry Pi by Luke Hodes

Good to show off your X-Top. But it lacks usability (or maybe my fingers are just too huge). The installation on the Raspberry Pi went smoothly. I followed the detailed installation first (I switched SD cards and then reinstalled Raspian) and then the easy installation. Both worked the first time. It can be used to show the boot sequence and console (although it initializes late in the boot process so you don't see Raspberry when it boots up), and if you don't have it installed, the boot can feel delayed. Our app for this product consists of two touch buttons (large) that fill the entire screen so it works as expected, but trying to tap/double tap/drag desktop icons is a waste of time. Haven't tried it with a stylus but will update this review afterwards.
