This item is exactly what I expected except it comes with a nice storage box which I wasn't expecting. I would caution against placing the tester on the case until it is completely dry. It is very easy to use and the auto shut off feature is convenient. I use it to measure the salinity of my koi fish pond. I had a meter pretty much identical to this one but only lasted 6 months. It actually had a different brand name printed on it so hopefully this one will last longer. I can't confirm its accuracy, but the readings are close to what I expected.
