Review on 🔧 Dorman 419-103 Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly: Ideal for Select Saturn Models by Ryan Brunson

Don't get a Dorman belt tensioner!

I originally ordered a Dorman belt tensioner for my '98 Saturn sl2 from rockauto.com to eliminate the rattling of the old belt tensioner. It worked fine for the first week, but after that the noise came back just as badly as the one I replaced. A few months later I went to Amazon to see what others were saying about Dorman and all the reviews were terrible. I went through all the belt tensioners until I came across this ACDelco and found that all the reviews were positive. After the Dorman was replaced by the ACDelco installing the serpentine belt on the ACDelco was a big problem compared to the Dorman because it was much stronger but a month went by and there was no noise at all! Dorman is noticeably cheaper, but not worth overpaying! I NEVER write product reviews, but I felt serious enough about writing for him.
