As someone with 25+ kidney stones, I've learned my lesson and make sure to drink plenty of water every day. For a long time I only relied on glass bottles because I didn't trust plastic and I didn't like the taste of water. The problem with glass bottles, and every other water bottle I've had, is cleaning. You can never go into all the little details, and there will inevitably be mold and mildew somewhere. Nobody has time for that, right? Well this bottle has successfully solved all my problems. It is very easy to clean and you can access all parts. It's lightweight, which is a big plus, and so far (I've had it for a few months) the only leak I've encountered was user error pulling it out of my mouth mid-sip. Hey I'm getting older, drooling on myself becomes more acceptable with age I guess. In any case, I love this bottle and would definitely recommend it.
