It does exactly what it's supposed to do and at a decent price. I bought these because I sometimes use a half frame bag on my gravel bike and the 'normal' bottle cage made it difficult to remove and change the bottle, even though it was technically possible. The side loading cage seems strange at first glance, but it is very effective. This particular one mounts easily, looks good and holds the bottle well even on bumpy roads. I'm sure a number of bottles will fit, but I use REI's "plain" 16 ounce water bottles. The price is pretty fair for what it is. I didn't weigh it, but to be honest, once I had my hydration plan, saddlebag, frame bag, and fat tires in place, I wasn't too concerned about a few grams. Read the description carefully to determine the to get the version you need (right or left opening). I installed it on the down tube and the bottle exits/enters on the right. If I put the same cage on the seat tube, it would open to the left. It's obvious when you think about it, but I thought I'd mention it.
