This bottle cage is lightweight and doesn't add bulk to my bike. It simply bolts to the bike with pre-installed screws that fit perfectly into the holes in the bottle cage. I bought this cage for my mountain bike to carry a large water bottle. Because of the bike's frame geometry, only a small bottle would fit in a traditional medium-load cage—the top of the bottle wouldn't fit through the top tube. With this cage I can carry 22 ounces. a bottle that easily lasts for a 2-3 hour drive.
