Review on Mile Marker 449S Lock Pair by Patrick Jarvis

Replaced warning bushings that were no longer used on my 2000 F-250 Super Duty. Mileage marker part number 449 s/s. Delivery was as promised. The packaging was good. Goods arrived without scratches. Installation was easy after a call to tech support. All I had to do was rock the axle up and down and side to side to get the new pins into the hub splines. At first I thought they wouldn't fit so I called Mile Marker's Techline and spoke to a guy who told me what and how to get them gliding. I moved the axle shaft and grabbed the cardan on the front axle. shaft and moved it up and down and side to side and the hub slid right in. Fits perfectly! The tolerance of these new hubs is so tight that a slight misalignment of the splined axle is enough to prevent slippage. The hubs have very little play when sliding! Much smaller than the Warn hubs I took out. Test drive and they work great. Easy to turn on and off. Would recommend.
