I installed it on a 1988 Boston Whaler Outrage. I installed a larger GPS/fishing sonar and waterproof radio mount. To do this, the factory-installed compass had to be relocated. Installation was easy. The location and cable port are well designed, making it easy to sneak below decks. The flashlight is LED, which increases its durability and lifespan, and also limits battery drain. It glows green, and I prefer red. The body is strong and durable. He didn't move 3 feet of the sea. So far, so good.
