The sharp corner makes it difficult to hold!
The bottom corner of the zester, right where it rests in your palm, is the sharp end! Mfg must either round off the corner or at least file it. The positioning of the shredder blades is also contrary to ergonomics for a right-handed person. You have to rotate your wrist at an awkward angle to try anything. This can work well for a left-hander if you don't mind bruising or bleeding from your palm.
