Torn on 2nd use, does not stick together when cleaned

Broken on 2nd use. Relaxes at each joint, although pulled as tight as possible. Tried it out by my weightlifting brother and it still fell apart after a few minutes of use. Makes cleaning even more of a hassle. A shameful waste of money. I *hope* to get some extra use out of it by covering the tear with tape, but only because I'm even more annoyed at the thought of throwing it away so soon. I'm not sure duct tape will help much.
