Review on Universal Auto-Grip Magnetic Car Phone Mount - Dashboard Cell Phone Holder for iPhone, Smartphones, and GPS by Christopher Clearfield

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this device - it's a good weight, not just cheap metal. Very strong magnet and very durable ball bearing for the movement. It was pretty tricky to set up, but you still don't want it moving while you drive. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the double sided tape can't withstand high heat. I've had this unit for two weeks now and I've dropped it quite a bit in the Vegas heat (and it's only 80 degrees). In other climates it is enough, 3M tape is very good, but it seemed to me that for the desert it would not be enough. It can be attached to the mount with a screw on the back of the unit, which I'll probably do as I really want to keep it. It looks very expensive and classy and I think it's a very good buy for $20.
