Love everything about this bed frame except the height of the headboard and footboard! My mattress is 12" high so you don't see much of the footboard and if you put the pillows at the head of the bed you don't see much of the headboard either. It's a shame, because I really like the spindle design! But the bed is solid, all the space underneath is great (enough height for paper boxes, some laundry baskets, plastic drawers, and some bags!), and assembly was easy but time-consuming (about 2 hours for me). If you have a short mattress or don't really care about design, choose this bed! But if you have a 10-inch or larger mattress, or are adding thick mattress pads, you might want to reconsider your decision.
